Thanks to this robust hardware component, Turn-Only window sashes can be locked in any position. Only Roto FTT offers this component in a version that can be adjusted and directly positioned.

Putting an end to temporary improvised solutions
The “Roto AL retaining restrictor” offers clear added value in day-to-day life, as there is no longer any need to place heavy objects on the windowsill to stop an open window sash from accidentally swinging open or slamming shut. The retaining restrictor is intuitive and easy to use via the handle. The window sash is simply opened as far as necessary and then reliably locked in any position by turning the handle back. The hinge side is protected in the event of incorrect operation thanks to a slide function. Its retaining force can be individually set for the customer.
RC 2-compatible
The new retaining restrictor is installed in the rebate at the bottom of the hinge side so that it is concealed. The window doesn’t need to be taken out of the standard production line to do so. If the strikers are designed and positioned accordingly, a window with a retaining restrictor can be equipped for resistance class 2. It can also be combined with a lockable handle. The Roto Sales department provides aluminium window manufacturers with advice on how to create a comfort window with increased burglary inhibition.
Retrofitting made easy
With the new retaining restrictor, Roto offers another option for retrofitting and upgrading aluminium windows which have already been installed. When presented with a corresponding hardware solution, many end customers state that they know how important an effective locking mechanism is.
